Reds finished as a 7 seed with a record of 13 wins and 11 losses... 2 games out of first place...

The Reds were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by the phillies... 2-1

The final week of the season featured the Reds vs the Yankees at Liberty Bell. The Yankees won game one. Game 2 was rained out.

Week 12- Liberty Bell

Reds split with the A's

Week 11- La Salle

Reds split with the Comets. Anthony Nelson dominated game 1. Game 2 was a mess. 13 walks issued from our favorite umpire crew again. I could blame our pitchers, but really every time these bozos ump our games we end up with our pitchers getting squeezed. Over 44 BB's issued from these guys in the 6 games they have umped us!!!!! I think it is time to purchase some new glasses.. There was some positives that came out of game 2. Chris Drobish 8 RBI's.... If anyone is counting that is 13 RBI's in his last 4 games. Dave Rusthoven 2 Triples.. and to top it off Mike Fein did NOT get thrown out!

MVP watch:      Nate Maxwell .567 Batting Avg...

Week 10- Liberty Bell

Reds sweep the Phills and move within 1 game of first place. Chris Drobish lead the way at the plate with 5 RBI's on the day.
Maxwell continued his tear going 4-4 at the plate. Anthony Nelson had a league high striking out 12 batters in game 1. Dave Rosen took a no-no into the sixth inning in game 2, only to give up a blistering home run to Bryant Harmon just coming back from knee surgery.

Week 9 - Plymouth Meeting (Villanova Field)

Game 1: Anthony Nelson picked up his 1st win of the season while the reds pounded out hit after hit. Game 2: 10 Free passes by Reds pitchers led to a Colt 45's victory..(Umpires were brutal.. If the ball did not go down the middle of the plate it was a ball!!... HORRIBLE!!

The Reds started the game on fire scoring 6 runs in the first 3 innings... The Reds pitching had a no-no going into the 7th inning.. Good pitching and timely hitting contributed to the win...
Anthony Nelson continues his tear going 4-4 at the dish while Nate Maxwell continues his hot streak going 3-4.

Week 7- Liberty Bell

Gm1: Reds took an early lead, only to hold on and ride the win out. Gm2: Reds gave up 3 early runs. Then built up a comfortable lead after the Phillies decided to throw the ball around, only to escape with yet another win.

Week 6- Liberty Bell Field

Gm 1: Featured a Blue Rocks hitting marathon and a couple of Umpires who should have been coaching little league games.
Gm 2: Nate Maxwell hits his GPMABL leading 3rd HR, this time with the bases loaded... Rosen picks up the win, Vuernick records the save. and yes the umpires got worse... fortunate for the Reds... the calls were against the Rocks.....
